Content Engagement Report FAQ

The following reports can be found in the UI under Insights > Content Engagement

Audience Analytics Report

What This Report Does:

The Audience Analytics report provides site traffic metrics for a specific time period.

Benefits:

  • Track pageviews and unique visits to calculate segment  populations
  • Ensure that the control tag is on your website, live, and operating correctly

Features:

  • A Uniques Trend chart for the selected time range (appears at the top), and a Uniques for Sites bar chart over the same time period
  • Shows the pageviews and unique users (both total and daily average) by site group, site, and section over time

 

Audience Engagement Report

What This Report Does:

The Engagement report depicts the number of views by a unique user providing insight into how users are interacting with your website(s).

Benefits:

  • Understand how well-exposed are your site visitors to your content

Features:

  • Total views by unique users during a select time frame

 

Loyalty Report

What This Report Does:

The Loyalty report records the number of return visits per unique over a selected time period.

Benefits:

  • Monitor website engagement over time

Features:

  • Highlights your total users (unique devices) per site, as well as return users to that site and the percentage of your total uniques that those return users represent

 

Social Activity Report

What This Report Does:

The Social Activity report describes all social sharing you have enabled through direct* widget implementations with Facebook or Twitter.

Benefits:

  • Build social influencer segments. These segments can be used to target users who are likely to share on social media.
  • Capture Facebook Shares, Facebook Likes, Facebook Unlikes and Twitter Tweets

Features:

  • Flexible date ranges
  • See the URLs of the top Facebook Likes and Twitter tweets; click-through to the original content

*Note that third-party implementations, such as AddThis or ShareThis are not included.

 

Search Keywords Report

What This Report Does:

The Search Keywords view gives a list and population of referral keywords associated with inbound web traffic from top search engines including Google, Bing, and Yahoo.

Benefits:

  • Build segments around search keywords
  • Identify valuable words to use for search campaigns to increase traffic to your site. This can help to identify good keywords for paid search campaigns.
  • Capture site search terms and link them to your site as a data source

Features:

  • Lists the source, keyword, and population of referrals over the last thirty days, and is filterable by site and section
  • Site results are processed weekly, and all recorded keywords are available in the Segment Builder

*Note that search keywords must hit a minimum threshold of 50 inputs to populate in this report.
